Belated Beauties: VMAs

There’s a lot going on in theCult these days. It is fall, afterall – out favorite season. So apologize for the lack of blogs, but beg you to stay tuned: lots of exciting things to come!

Here’s just a bit of beauty to tide you over until the next Cultural piece. My faves from MTV’s 2006 VMA telecast:

I’m not sure about the sheer blouse on Pink, but the total package looks great. A bit rock and roll, but still very feminine and pretty.

Queen Latifah really knows how to dress her body well. She doesn’t have to try to hard to look great.

Jennifer Lopez (I refuse to call her by the shortened silliness) took a lot of criticism for this ensemble, but I think it’s really great. The head scarf ages her a bit, but the overall look is very elegant and subtley sexy.

Jack Black just can’t stop being a comedian. I think his gold suit is just daring enough, but still chic ( I love all the gold and black that’s oh so now).

Say what you will about Kanye and his style choices, at least he has style. Kudos!

Kelis is a goddes in this prefectly accessorized white mini; and I love the new cut. She is quickly become one of my style heros.
