Project Runway, 2 Aug ‘6

First of all, the whole Keith drama was way overblown, although I suppose that’s to be expected from TV. If not for the pattern book infraction, he should have gone for being generally incompetent. He’s a creative guy, but his skill clearly wasn’t up to par. And then there’s the disappearing during production time deal. You want to know what I think? I think he was a junkie. Just look at him!

But on the more important things –

Once again I disagreed with the judges on which was the worst look on the runway. Yes, Bonnie’s design was a bit dowdy (the pants were disgusting), but I quite liked the three-quarter length sleeves on the coat; and maybe the cowl-neck sweater wasn’t the most contemporary, but at least it looked like it would have felt nice on the body.

On the other hand, Robert’s design was horrifying from top to bottom. From the color to the fabric to the cut to the styling: yuck, yuck, yuck, yuck. Clearly, Robert needs to go back to designing for obsolete toys. I hope he’s next to be auf’d.

On the brighter side, i think the right team won and Angela had a deserved moment of redemption (the other designers are really hard on her).

Keith’s team did a decent job as well. The look was chic, but not very I.N.C.

lol, I saw an episode of this show about 3 weeks ago and had intended to message you about it, but I should’ve known that you’d already be a fan. :O)
