Haute HoroscopeTM: Leo

by

From LlewellynJournal.com: Leo the Lion loves luxurious things. They usually have huge closets filled with lovely and expensive outfits or those that at least look expensive. They own big, oversized jewelry boxes too. Glittery, sequined shirts, skirts and dresses, bold colors, satins and silks are staples in the Leo’s wardrobe. They also like animal prints. Lions look for designer labels. Their favorite colors are red and gold. They are attracted to clothing that helps them “stand out” and is dramatic in some way. Jewelry, especially gold, is always a must-have” for a Leo.

Apparel

Royal purple strapless by Tracy Reese. The deep color and skin-baring bodice is just bold enough, and the embroidery adds a luxe-appeal

Matthew Williamson’s very red satin shirt dress. Limelight-loving Leo will go for attention-grabbing reds like this.

Lions adore the posh look of this Etro velvet blazer – especially as it’s paired with the high-collared blouse, creating an almost regal effect.

I don’t care for this Donna Karan gold sequined cashmere sweater, but it’s seems to fil the Leo bill quite perfectly.

Accessories

Lions love status-giving labels. Accordingly, this white Gucci Britt shoulder bag, with it’s obvious gold G enclosure, is a likely choice.

Animal printed items, like this Dolce & Gabbana leopard satchel will appeal to Leo.

But the Lion might want the animal, not just the print. This Gucci mink purse should do. And at $4600, it is obnoxiously luxurious (which makes Leo proud).

These are Gucci python pumps. Animal print works for feet too!

This Kenneth Jay Lane gold-toned and ruby ring is perfect for fiery Leo. It looks extravagant, but at 63 bucks it’s a decent bargain.

I almost posted a picture of a diamond from Tiffany & Co, but then I remembered how much I hate the over-glamorization of the gems – many of which come from areas where the native people own none of the wealth the mining creates, yet suffer all of the dire consequences.
