<p>On the season finale of MTV&#8217;s &#8220;The City&#8221; main character Whitney Port showed a premie version of her debut collection to a panel of Bergdorf Goodman <del datetime="2009-12-02T05:25:31+00:00">fashion snobs</del> buyers. The team tore into every garment, picking the cuts and fabric choices. It was probably better, though, that they weren&#8217;t easy on her, as it&#8217;s already a fantasy sequence that she&#8217;s able to command such a panel of heavy hitters. (Something about having an MTV crew follow you around really seems to open doors in NYC). </p>
<p>Whitney was able to pull off her Bryant Park debut in a 3-headed show alongside more established designers Mara Hoffman and Nicholas K. Looks like she took at least some advice from Linda Fargo et al and refined some of her designs. See some highlights from Whitney Eve Spring 2010 in the gallery below.</p>

<p>MTV&#8217;s pseudo-reality show &#8220;The City&#8221; feature several starlets on the war path from some sort of fame or other. Generally, the incredible gigs (apartments) they get are far from realistic, but it seems there&#8217;s as least one of them that&#8217;s the real deal (kinda). Last season we met Allie Crandell &#8211; an itty bitty raven-hair model with enchanting eyes and a jerk from a boyfriend. I didn&#8217;t much care for her character on the show (or how she was portrayed) but&#8230; um, well that&#8217;s all.</p>
