The late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis would have turned 80 today. The iconic first lady is known for her prim postures as the President’s wife. But vintages pics of Jackie O show that the woman was at her style best “post-Camelot.”

That is, better if you have no sense of satire and even less sense of style. Frankly, I’m MORE offended by this cover. How on earth is this the style issue cover and the drawings are so utterly devoid of STYLE?!

Of course, folks are complaining about this cover too. Calling it offensive because the First Lady is more than a style icon. They need to mad that Michelle looks like she’s been dressed by Newport News. Ewwww

And now the girl-kissing singer is showing out to be quite the little stylista. Yesterday Perry Hosted Bondi Blonde’s Style Mansion in Beverly Hills. Now, I have no idea what the purpose of the event was, but, sadly, Katy was the only one on the red carpet with any Cult-worthy style.

It was disappointing that an event with the word “style” in the moniker would be so devoid of intriguing outfits, but it did solidify Katy and a potential icon. Indeed, her choices for the recent slew of Grammy events, including the uber-chic pink Basil Soda gown, shows an evolution that I’ll be keeping an eye on.
