<p>Okay all carcasm aside, <a href="http://www.smh.com.au/news/lifeandstyle/lifematters/warnings-botox-can-cause-birth-defects/2009/01/27/1232818427668.html" target="_blank">research out of Australia</a> is now reporting that Botox causes birth defect in pregnant women. Come on people is this <em>really</em> such a surprise? I mean, no bacteria facials for knocked up chicks seems like a no-brainer. How long do you think it&#8217;ll be before they rule out the dummy practice altogether? Very soon, I hope.</p>

<p>Let&#8217;s hope the ridiculous &#8220;beauty&#8221; treatment goes the way of foot binding. AND let&#8217;s hope our current obsession with youthful beauty follows right behind it, and fake faces like Laurie&#8217;s from the &#8220;Real Housewives of Orange County&#8221; will be scorned and not lauded.</p>
