While many of us were fixated on the Academy Awards red carpet, there was icon-level style happening at the first Obama formal state dinner in Washington, DC.

I started to include some of the photos of the other ladies and gentlemen at the National Governor’s dinner this past Sunday, but I decided not to put the others to shame. Michelle Obama looked amazing in a Peter Soronen gown and Tom Binns necklace.
