It’s not really a fair fight, considering Katy Perry’s status as a Cult icon. She’s the clear winner, with accessories that compliment the dress, rather than doggedly match it, as do Hilton’s blue shoes and peacock clutch.

Nicky Hilton does, however, win in the hair and makeup department by a thin margin. The softer face and braided hair are a good foil to the razzle dazzle of the dress.

This just in: bananas everywhere are staging a boycott against all future Solange Knowles outfits for her slanderous representation of the fine fruit in a pair of pant while performing at the SXSW Music and Media conference in Austin, TX.

Curiously, the singer looked fairly chic while arriving to the event (despite an unusual makeup job), but ditched her smart tux blazer in favor of the pants in question.

A statement from the bananas union said that the boycott would end when Solange stops using ridiculous fashion to try to escape her superstar sister’s massive shadow.
