Finally! A reality TV show that ends they we think it should: Anna won Bravo’s “The Fashion Show” – yay!!! I was skeptical about the audience voting format, but in this case I guess it worked in my favorite designer’s favor. She easily had the best style on the show and her sensibility translated into making a collection that real women actually want to wear.

The pink dress – above on the left – is selling at shopbravo.com for $140. The one on the right (the one I want) is going for $175. Both dresse won’t ship until this fall, however.

It’s fashion “week” in Atlanta. Accordingly, I’ve got no time for couch potato activity, which means I will miss the finale show of Bravo’s inaugural season of “The Fashion Show.” I’ll miss the convo Twitter buddies!

Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey makes her debut tonight at 10 PM ET/PT on Bravo’s The Fashion Show, turning her discerning eye on the competition’s remaining five designers.

Bailey appears on both the Harper’s Bazaar Mini Challenge and as an elimination judge.‬‪ Joining her for the Mini Challenge is Isabel Toledo, and together they judge the contestants on the art of draping, one of the most difficult and revered skills in the design world.

For the elimination round, the designers really need to shine as they make their way to the finals, and the winning design will be sold on Bravo TV.com. Swarovski crystals play a crucial role in the designers’ task of creating a standout red carpet gown that would get any client on the best-dressed list. Reality shows are a guilty pleasure of mine. But then when you add fashion to the mix you’ve got my personal version of TV Gold. Accordingly, Project Runway was one of my absolute faves. I was sad to see it end with it’s final season last year, but appreciated that it left while it as still good. But there’ a void now – one that several networks are trying to fill, but failing miserably.

So in comes another Bravo series, “The Fashion Show.” According to a press release I received today, the show “follows professional designers as they strive to make their mark in the dog-eat-dog world of fashion and compete for a chance to have their designs sold for the mass retail market. The designers will face off in challenges and have their fate determined not only by the professional judges, but also by a studio audience.”

Designer and retail innovator Isaac Mizrahi will co-host the show with R&B star Kelly Rowland. The two will judge the show with IMG SVP Fern Mallis, who’s no doubt been brought in to legitimize what seems to be a potentially cheesy setup. It’s sounds like it could be cool, but the studio audience participation throws me off. Next thing you know they’ll be going for the American Idol setup. Yikes.
