Young designer Alexander Wang united some unusual elements to create one of the most focused and singular collections of the season. He dressed fashion-waif models in early American football-reminiscent gear, then combined sporty jersey with chiffon, leather and shirting material. The construction makes jersey a valid high-fashion fabric and makes for truly original and forward thinking design.
