Ahhhh Libra... It is my favorite time of year. The weather is gorgeous: cool enough to break out the boots now and then, but still warm enough to go out on the town at night without piling on outfit-crushing layers. Libra, being about balance, loves the middle - the in between: feminine but not frilly, alluring but not overtly sexy, subtle and muted embellishments. Comfort Shoes

Every now and then you just have to indulge: Comfort Shoes. And, no, I'm not talking about crocs and aerosoles. I mean comfort a la comfort food. When your feeling down in the dumps you can go for some mashed potatoes or you can go shopping. Nothing beats the blues like a pair of fabulous shoes! The high lasts at least as long as the play-dress-up session once you get home.

When you're doing frivolous shopping, nothing feels better than buying something completely impractical that you'll only use once or twice a year. These sky-high, hot pink, Louis Vuitton wedge sandals are too loud for frequent wear, but they are soooo scrumptious.




In the summer time there's an all-white party every other day, it seems. From my observation, the hardest part to pull off are the white shoes. With shoes like these Givenchy pumps, you can make a plain white tee look hot.

Cult vets might recall a post way back when that confessed my guilty pleasure in online dress up games. Still, those games didn't manage to hold my attention long - the choices being so few and all. Polyvore is incredible in it's variety (including interior design pieces) and usability. I can't believe I've been ignorant of it for so long! In fact, the creator(s) have been an IQON contact of mine for awhile and I still didn't know about it. Shameful, really...
