As a photographer, it answers the question ‘what will you do with your hands’, just hold a ciggarette.
And smoke is just visually interesting too.
But I have to agree, as long as a cigarette is shown in a photograph, it’s a ciggarette advertisement, and that’s not something I really want to promote or endorse…
