Fall 2009 Accessories Trend: Suede Shoes

After years of been shunned as leather’s less chic and easier to sully stepsister, Suede has silently crept back into acceptable fashion and even landed a spot on the ultra trendy list. Expect to see it in copious amounts this fall – and dyed in every color of the rainbow no less.

I’m as apprehensive about the resurgence of suede as I am about all the 90s standards, but judging from those Anna Sui boots (top right) and those pink Sergio Rossi pumps in the gallery, I just might have to give this fad another go.
